The window to apply for scholarships for the next round of education programmes available through the Intensive Learning Academies at Swansea University is now open!

There are a limited number of fully funded scholarships available for those working in Health, Social Care and the Third Sector in Wales and an overview is provided below.

Part Time MSc Programmes
There are a limited number of full fee scholarships for the part time Intensive Learning Academies’ MSc Programmes for the academic year, 2025-2026 starting in September 2025.

Delivered over 2 years, the programmes use a mix of weekly online delivery (Friday pm), weekend in person workshops (approx. 5 per year) and asynchronous material available through the University’s Canvas virtual learning platform so to work around the demands of working full time and family commitments.

These scholarships are available on the following part time MSc programmes for professional learners currently employed in the Health, Social Care and Third Sectors in Wales. All funding applications will need a supporting statement from your line manager or similar.

  • MSc Advanced Management – (Health Innovation and Transformation), through the Innovation Academy. You can apply for the MSc Advanced Management (Health Innovation and Transformation) scholarship here.
  • MSc Advanced Health and Care Management – (Value Based), through the Value-Based Academy. You can apply for the MSc Advanced Health and Care Management scholarship here.

The deadline for scholarship applications is Monday 2 June 2025. Please remember to apply for the course at the same time, as scholarship applications will not be considered without an application for the relevant course being received by the University admissions office.

Executive Education
Principles of Value-Based Health & Care executive education is a 2 day online course which will be held in October 2025. Details about the course can be found here.

Delivered by a team of international faculty of leaders with expert knowledge of health and care systems, the course will ensure you return to your organisation equipped to validate or build a strategy defined by value and outcomes. The scholarship application deadline for the October course is 15 August 2025.
