Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board provides an extensive complement of clinical services and specialties to a population of circa 460,000 people across Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taf and the surrounding counties. Clinical services include acute/emergency care, out-patients, mental health, primary care, population health, therapies, medicines management and diagnostics provided by over 13,500 staff across three acute hospitals, community hospitals, 50 GP establishments and community services. A purpose-built Clinical Research Centre at Llantrisant provides designated space for research activity.
